 We are delighted to formally announce the 37th Chromosome Workshop and the 18th Nuclear Dynamics Meeting (Joint meeting), which will be held at one of the popular hot spring Tsukioka in Niigata, Japan, in winter 2019. For more than three decades, these meetings have been successfully put outstanding scientists from inside and outside Japan together, and to discuss the cutting-edge topics in the field of chromosome biology. The significance of these meetings seems to be more pronounced today, in order to encourage and promote the basic research. We appreciate it that three Kakenhi projects conducting different aspects of chromosome biology support this annual meeting. We expect that people share update results and enjoy active discussions during the meeting, especially we encourage young scientists, students and postdocs for their active participation.
